The colours of each letter reflect the different sounds e.g. light vowels-yellow, dark vowels-blue, soft consonant-orange, hard consonant-red, breathy consonant-dark green, R and L-light green, J-purple, S and Z-turquoise. Made from birch plywood, treated with linseed oil with dowelling for each letter and 2 holes from which it can be hung.
